Jim Hamilton Kicking Cancer

First post: Sep 23, 2016 Latest post: Dec 22, 2016
Welcome to our Caring Bridge. Our dad Jim Hamilton was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in 2014, while awaiting a kidney transplant. Multiple Myeloma is defined as malignant plasma cells found in the bone marrow. Although a kidney transplant was cancelled, the early diagnosis of the cancer was a blessing and helped to get treatment going at an early stage for the cancer. After  2 years of chemotherapy treatment and remission, it's time to hit cancer big with a bone marrow transplant. Jim will enter the hospital on October 4, 2016 to begin the bone marrow transplant process.  He is his own donor of stem cells, and we are all ready to concer cancer in the coming weeks!
