Welcome to Paul's CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. On March 24, 2017, Paul was admitted to the hospital after going to the ER, because he was coughing up blood. They discovered a 95 % blockage and he had 2 stents placed in his right coronary artery.   After 5 days he was released home.  On April 2nd, he was readmitted for extreme weakness.  His IV site had developed an infection.  Unfortunately, the staph infection was already blood borne/systemic.  The good news is it's not MRSA. The bad news is it is still quite serious. We all appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.  Please be sure to read through the journal posts to get caught up on the reality of his situation, before asking questions. Going forward his youngest, Andrea, will try post daily regarding new develops/updates. Thank you so much for visiting.
