Drew McKevitt

First post: Apr 21, 2021
First, we would like to thank EVERYONE for their kind thoughts, well wishes, and prayers for Drew and our family. The outpouring of love and support is AMAZING!  We would  like to thank the Woodbury, Cottage Grove, and Oakdale police departments for their professional handling of this tragic incident. Also, it is important to thank the EMS responders and the entire staff at Regions Hospital. We are truly grateful for the level of care that Drew received.

As many of you know, Drew was a passenger in the accident that occurred in Woodbury on Saturday, March 13th. Drew is now resting at home after suffering a broken Jaw, bruised lung, several minor lacerations and bruises, and damage to several teeth. Due to Drew's broken jaw, he is on a soft food / liquid diet for 6-8 weeks. He will need some dental work done but we don't know the extent of that until his jaw and tongue heal. In the meantime, Drew is in a lot of pain due to the trauma his body has suffered. It will take time to heal but Drew is expected to fully recover.

Our hearts are broken for the passing of a very close friend.  We continue to pray for the recovery of the other friends involved in this devastating accident. We feel the love and support from the entire community. Please continue to share this same love and support with the other families involved.

Thank you,
Jim, Kelly, and Brendan McKevitt
