Drake was in a serious accident on Wednesday March 22, 2017. Drake has been on a ventilator in the ICU Trauma Unit at CMC Main since that time. Drake has currently undergone surgery to repair a torn aorta, shattered wrist and is still in need of facial surgery. In preparation for the facial surgery a tracheotomy was performed and unfortunately complications arose during that procedure. He has been placed on an ECMO machine to help oxygenate his body while his lungs are healing. His condition is currently stable but a long journey is ahead. Please continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers. We will continue to keep you updated.
