Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. 


On Friday, November 22 Doug suffered a massive heart attack at Vail. Thankfully he was with others and action was taken immediately to get him to the hospital. He required a stent in his heart for a blocked artery and was then transferred to St Jospehs Hospital in Denver where is is receiving amazing care! His breathing tube was removed on Monday, November 25 and each day brings great progress. On thanksgiving day he was transferred out of the ICU with the next step being discharge from the hospital! He is on dialysis due to injury to his kidneys from the heart attack, but the hope and expectation is that it is temporary. We will continue to posted updates here!
