Doretta was admitted to the hospital on Monday, June 5th.. She is currently at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital. She was diagnosed with colon cancer. She will have surgery to remove the tumor on Thursday. They will remove the part of the colon with the tumor and reattach it. At that time check all vital organs lymph nodes. Her recovery in the hospital after surgery will be about three days. She then will go to a rehab center. We are hoping to be placed in a rehab facility in The Woodlands.
