Early in June of this year Dora Jean was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lymphoma in her pelvic area and lungs.  This diagnosis was missed due to  attributing the symptoms from total knee replacement surgery in February.   After imaging and biopsy, the lymphoma was diagnosed.   Dora then had 6 rounds of chemotherapy.  After the 3rd treatment, a PET Scan was performed and Dora was given the "all clear".   Before Thanksgiving, Dora began having pain in her rib cage and back.   This initially was determined to be muscle pain by the neurologist.  However, Dora began having severe pain and went to the ER on Thanksgiving morning and was reviewed by multiple specialties.  A tumor was found to be growing inside the spinal cord at T 5-6.   The symptoms of the tumor progressed rapidly, which has left her with paralysis from the waist down.  She has received radiation treatment and is scheduled for a follow-up MRI in Mid-January to determine the full effects of the radiation and the affects on the tumor.  Because the tumor was inside the spinal cord, a biopsy was not an option and they are treating the tumor as if it is Lymphoma.

Please pray with us for the Lord's direction, healing and strength for whatever comes.
