This is Bryan writing on Dora Jean's behalf. Early in June of this year Dora Jean was diagnosed as having a mass in her pelvic area. This diagnosis was delayed due to attributing the symptoms to the aftermath of knee replacement surgery that took place in February. There were complications from that procedure that were consistent with that, but finally it was decided that something was going on. After scans it was determined that there was a mass and an oncologist was consulted. That doctor ordered a biopsy of the lung where there was a spot. That biopsy did not tell them anything and another biopsy was ordered on Thursday the 29th of June. We will get the results of that probably on Monday. She has lost about 20 pounds since the knee surgery and she is weak. We are waiting and praying for the word that will probably come on Monday. We will report on the progress as it comes. Please pray with us for the Lord's direction, healing and strength for whatever comes. She has her "port" in and is ready to begin chemo therapy but we need to know what kind of cancer it is before chemo can be started.
