Recently, Don was diagnosed with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer. Thankfully this was caught very early due to a short stay in the hospital with complications from Pneumonia. The Pneumonia was masking the tumor on an X Ray from September, while he was in the hospital he had another X-Ray, this time the Pneumonia was cleared up enough to show the Tumor. The cancer is a Stage 1 and his team of Doctors at St Luke's on the Plaza will remove one lobe of his right lung. This site has been started so that friends and family can keep up with his surgery and recovery. Don is scheduled to be the first surgery of the day on November 7th.
