Don Palmer

Last Friday was Dons last day of chemo for right now.  He has had a bumpy road so far to say the least...  He has had 2 incredibly horrible nights this past week but is getting through it all with as much positivity as he can muster and with the help of all the family and friends supporting him in your visits.   The love and the laughter has definitely helped and continues to help him thru this time....  So we are waiting for a specific test to come back called a npm1 test...  This will tell us whether Don is in a good category or an intermediate one for his condition.  Depending on which one will make the difference as to whether or not he has to have a bone marrow transplant.  The other important thing we are waiting for Is a bone marrow biopsy that will be done this Thursday.  We will get the results back from that on Friday and that will tell us if they got all or most of the cancer blasts.  If it is a 4 or less then he will be able to go home.  If not another immediate round of chemo.
So specific prayers are:
for the npm1 test to come back positive.
For bone marrow biopsy to not be difficult or painful and then for the results to show no cancer blasts.
Thanks to everyone who is praying ... Even though it is a difficult time,  we see where God is showing up through so many different blessings.
I or Don will continue to update everyday so everyone who wants to follow can see what Don is going  through for the day and to see what he needs prayer for...  We love you all and thank you for helping both of us through this journey.
