On Thursday,  Jan 12th, Don and Lois were in Kona, going to get their handicap tag.  Dad parked the car, got out and walked around, and the car somehow came out of gear.  It hit him and rolled over  him.  He was pinned under the car between the passenger front and back seats at the waist.  He was brought to the Kona hospital where they got his internal bleeding stable enough to airlift him to Queens hospital in Honolulu.

DR is currently in ICU.  He is on a ventilator and they are keeping him sedated.  He has many medical issues including, but not limited to: fractured pelvis, fractured t-4 spine, fractured shoulder, dislocated knee, fractured femur,  etc!
