I first found a lump in my breast on 18th February 2021 and it’s been a rollercoaster ever since. GP appointment on the 19th feb, a referral to the breast clinic two weeks later where I had a mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy. At this point I had my suspicions as there were lots of wonderful doctors and nurses around me, which was very overwhelming. I was told on the day that I had Breast cancer but needed to wait for the biopsy results as well. Two gruelling weeks later it was confirmed (not that I didn’t already know) it is mind blowing and so much information to take in. All I really want to do is fast forward that button 6 months. Yes I’m scared, I’m scared of the unknown. All the treatment that lies ahead. But I know I have plenty of people to care and look out for me even in this difficult time. I am going to limit myself to who I come into contact with ( my bubble will be small) some door step/ front garden visits too 🥳😉🥳😉 With all of your help the healing journey will be so much easier. Words of encouragement and love 💗
