Donna went in to have routine surgery to repair a 
 hiatal hernia on  November 1, at Sentara Norfolk General! The following day she was having pain and it was determined she had a tear in her esophagus! So the next day on Wed they surgically inserted a stint in her esophagus in order for her tear to heal! She was then moved to icu for observation!
