Donna Corinne Fannin, 67, peacefully passed after a long battle with cancer. She went to be with the Lord, our Savior Jesus Christ, and celebratory reunion with her son, Edward Michael Fannin, on his 47th birthday on Thursday, September 1, 2016.
She was born in Holtville, California on April 1st, 1949. Many remember her as a waitress while some may have known her as a vivacious and energetic Aerobics Instructor. She had an infectious smile and outgoing spirit that matched no other. She had a passion for painting and sewing, and was an avid book reader.
She is survived by her son Butch Fannin, daughter-in-law Denise, daughter Kimberly Carlton, son-in-law Bryan, grandchildren Ashley Preciado, Mackenzie Fannin, Natalie Carlton, Halle Carlton, Aiden Fannin, a great-granddaughter Stella Preciado. Additionally, she is survived by her brothers and sisters Russell Wall, Bruce Wall, Carol Dowsey Hasbargen, Floyd Dowsey, RuthAnne Dowsey Crimm, Norman Dowsey, Eric “Cisco” Dowsey, Nan Wall, Ronald Wall, Donald Wall, and numerous nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 10th at 10:00 a.m. at Turning Point Ministries in Holtville, California at 449 Pine Avenue.
