Family and friends-

Thank you so much for walking this journey with us. Mom has been there for all of us over the years and now it is time to return that favor. She is a very special person to many and we are so blessed to have YOU on our team as we fight this battle head on. 

As most of you may know, Mom had pneumonia that would not clear. She knew something was just not right and went back to the doctor a second time for another chest x-ray. The chest x-ray showed a few "shadows" and the doctor sent her for a CT scan. This is how her journey to diagnosis started. Fast forward to the present and we now have an official diagnosis of adenocarcinoma. In short, primary lung cancer. We know it has spread to various other areas, but we remain grateful that is not present in any other major organs. 

Mom continues to be strong in her faith and we know that fear is not of the Lord. We know His ways are good and He has a plan in place. Matthew 17:20: "Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." With the faith of a mustard seed we are going to tackle this mountain.
