In May  Don was diagnosed with vocal cord cancer. He underwent 7 weeks of radiation 5 days a week. We were hopeful that it was gone but 4 weeks after finishing radiation it was back and is now on both sides. November 15th he will have his voicebox removed in an effort to get rid of this cancer once and for all. He is with the best doctors to do this and they feel very strongly this is the best direction to be cancer free!!
