Doniel Kaye

 Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.     Thank you for visiting.     On Tuesday, February 14, 2017, Doniel was riding in the passenger seat of a car on the highway near his home in Park City , Utah when another vehicle (driving erratically) then crossed a wide median and collided head-on into his vehicle.    Doniel is now the sole survivor out of 5 people in this  atrocity.   His survival is miraculous, as officials on the scene told us that it was as if "a metal cage" covered him.   He is recovering  from numerous life-threatening injuries, including internal injuries, fractures, severe lacerations, the emotional trauma of losing a dear friend, and having to cope with learning that a crime was committed against him and his friend.   His prognosis for recovery is good, but his battle will be long.   He has been surrounded by his immediate family, and we have received messages of love, prayers and support from friends, family, colleagues and even unknown well-wishers from all over the country and even the world.  This is giving us strength.   Now, we are opening this CaringBridge so Doniel can see your messages to pull him up from this nightmare.
