Hello family and friends,

As many of you know, in May of 2016, Don was diagnosed with Myelofibrosis, a serious type of blood cancer that is progressive and irreversible. While Don was able to deal with the symptoms fairly well throughout the fall, his condition began to worsen in January. Now Don has been admitted to the hospital as the symptoms have grown more uncomfortable. Don is being treated for the discomfort and for some of the confusion that sometimes results from the disease. Sadly there is no way for Don's body to create the blood cells that he needs. At this point the outstanding doctors and nurses at Froedtert Hospital are enjoying Don's sense of humor and providing him comfort and help with the pain.

Don and Barbara are not able to accept visitors, but truly appreciate all your love, support, and prayers. The best way to be in contact at this time is through the Caringbridge site.

For those that wish to pray for Don's health, his hebrew name is Dovid ben Leah.

Thank you.
