We have created this site to update people about our father, Don Krebs.  After initial test results raised questions about my dad's health, a CT scan on July 30th confirmed the presence of a characteristic "tail-shaped" mass on Dad's pancreas and spots on his liver.  Dad has pancreatic cancer.

The family met with Hospice Care staff at Parkview in Melrose, Minnesota on August 15th; Parkview is the assisted living center where Dad and Mom (Barbara Krebs) have been living since June 2014.  Dad's condition has progressed since then, and, on September 14th, he moved into Melrose Hospital, which is next door to the Parkview.  Dad has remained at Melrose Hospital since then.
