Thank you for your prayers and support and for visiting our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. Dominic is currently in the Intensive Care Unit at John Muir hospital where he underwent surgery on December 23. As many of you know, Dom had suffered with unbearable and untreatable pain the last couple months, with hospital visits and tests and medicine all doing nothing. On the morning of December 7, after finding him unresponsive, he was rushed to Marin General and placed on a ventilator. A day later he was transferred to California Pacific Medical Center where it was determined that he suffered significant brain injury in the region governing movement and speech. He was subsequently transferred to John Muir for his surgery to remove the hardware from his back surgery three years ago, suspected to have resulted in an infection causing his pain. We ask for your love and prayers to be sent to him as he heals and enters the challenge of a lifetime to regain his strength and abilities.
