Dolores went into Regions Hospital on the evening of 5/7/17 with drowsiness, abdominal pain.. this was following her knee surgery on 5/5-5/6 which actually went really well.
A hole was found in her stomach, don't know the cause, and surgery was performed to close the hole early in the morning of 5/8.  She had sepsis, from the stomach contents spilling into her abdomen?
This trauma escalated and was hard on her heart.. and the kidneys pretty much shut down. She was put on all sorts of drugs for pain, raise her blood pressure, etc.  she was on a ventilator until the morning of 5/10.  The kidneys were not cleaning out the blood adequately, so she was put on dialysis the evening of 5/9.
