Thank you so much for all of the prayers during this weekend regarding Dink. We hope that you all forgive us for not keeping everyone up to date on developments, but managing all of the texts, calls and messages has become very overwhelming for us all! 
If you didn't know, Judy & Dink were visiting Amy last week in Little Rock to help her get settled and left on Wednesday to go back to Texas. 
Dink was not feeling well and so on Thursday morning, Judy took him to the urgent care in Seguin and they admitted him to the hospital there to begin treating him for pneumonia. 
In a very quick turnaround the physicians let us know that we were dealing with something much larger than pneumonia (acute lymphoblastic leukemia) that has probably been in Dink's body for awhile. And because of this, the pneumonia is super aggressive and is taking over because his immune system is so low.  
All prognosis that we have been given so far is not good and organs are not holding up enough to be able to do chemotherapy.
However, he is comfortable and we are just depending on God and the medical staff to navigate us through this tough time.  
Please keep us all in your prayers and pray specifically for clear answers, no pain for Dink and strength for us all.  
We are in utter shock that he was unpacking boxes on Wednesday and is now fighting for life.
