On February 3, 2017, Dick went for an outpatient procedure to have an anal fissure repaired. As it turned out, it was not a fissure that he had been suffering with for some months. After two weeks of tests, and scans, and more information than our minds could process, we learned that he has stage 3 anal cancer. In addition to the tumor, he has cancer in the two lower lymph nodes of his pelvis. These are close to the tumor and there is no sign of cancer anywhere else. This was the good news. We are sharing this site to update all family, and friends, and friends of friends and to ask for prayer warriors. We believe in the power of prayer. Our journey has begun and we thank you for your support.
