As many of you know , Dick  went to our local hospital September 20 with shortness of breath and anxiety.  He was transferred to Concord Hospital on Thursday the 21.  After many tests it has been determined that Dick's mitral valve has been compromised and the only treatment is surgery.  The aortic valve which was replaced 11 years ago has stiffened.  So Dick is a complicated case which cannot be handled here.  He will be transferred to Mass General Hospital from this hospital hopefully today.  I will try to update this sight as news developed.  Many thanks ahead of time for your prayers and concerns.  lWelcome to our CaringBridge website.
