A fish bone and a fall....last week was a tough one for Dick and Julie.  It began with a poke in a finger from a salmon bone for Julie which led to hospitalization and surgery on her hand as a result of an aggressive infection.  She has been receiving IV antibiotics round the clock.  While she was being treated at a hospital in Seattle, Dick took a late night fall at home which resulted in hospitalization in a different hospital for a broken hip.  We will be using this site to post updates and invite messages of encouagement to be posted here .  A  sincere thank you from them and their family for the love and support they already have experienced.
