Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Mom and dad were in a severe car accident Saturday September 16th in the morning. Mom sustained the most injuries,  mainly a broken left knee cap and internal bruising.  Since her initial hospital stay,  she has had a couple of seizures due to a late presenting concussion. She will be on some anti seizure medicine for a while.  She also had a blood transfusion.

Mom's confusion due to Alzheimer's is pretty evident but it doesn't mean that she doesnt know how her body feels. She is one tough cookie but she does have some low points during the day. Mom enjoys visits and can talk on the phone.  However,  she doesn't have her cell phone with her so calls will need to be initiated by you all.
