Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
During the first week of November, I enjoyed swimming laps.  But by mid-November, I was breathless taking a moderate walk.  What could be going on?  I visited my doctor who discovered a plueral effusion in my right lung, and over a liter of fluid was drained and tests were negative.  This was the beginning of a search for a shocking answer---mesothelioma.  And  all the more shocking because I haven't had a known exposure to asbestos.  What follows is my journey in dealing with the disease.
