On April 4th 2017 I discovered a lump.  I immediately scheduled a mammogram and also had an ultrasound.  I had an appointment on April 26 and then on May 1st a biopsy.  I stupidly consulted to receive a phone call to hear the result-it would have been fine but I picked up the phone while at work!  Hearing that it was stage III breast cancer at work, not a good thing, this was May 4th.  After some weighing of who to see from here I decided on Siteman in St Louis.  Seems delay after delay to get an appointment for to make a plan.  Finally saw oncologist and a surgeon on May 16, a plan was finally in place.  I had a bone and CT scan on May 23 and am now waiting to hear the results.  I am looking at surgery on May 31.
