Hello all, I wanted to find an easy way to keep all those who have been calling, texting, emailing, etc. with concern for my mom updated.  We SO appreciate all your love and support.

My Mom had her replaced knee joint removed about 5 weeks ago due to an infection.  The original surgery was at NFRMC, then she was transported to Oak Hammock Rehab facility.  She's been on a six week IV antibiotic treatment to try and beat this infection.  There have been some bumps along the way as you can imagine, but she was hanging in there.  This past weekend she became disoriented, confused and much weaker.  She was transported back to North Florida Regional Medical Center this past Saturday morning to try and determine what is going on.  She is currently on week SIX of the IV antibiotics for the knee, so these other symptoms were not what we were expecting, but in hindsight just amazed her little body has tolerated the antibiotics to date.
