Dear Friends and Family!

Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.

Diane was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer in late August 2015. Following surgery, she completed chemotherapy in early March and radiation treatment began shortly thereafter. She did very well throughout all of these treatment stages. She maintained a healthy lifestyle and continued  working part time.  In April, she began to exhibit cognition issues and was diagnosed April 12 with brain tumors. On April 14, she underwent surgery at Swedish First Hill. Her daughter, Jessie, brother Bob and close friend Abby are her primary support team.  Diane was discharged from the hospital on April 22nd. The brain diagnosis is diffuse B cell lymphoma. She will complete her radiation treatment for the breast cancer in early May. Then, she will begin the chemotherapy via a combination of oral treatment and in-hospital treatment over the course of several months.
See the journal for updates and the planner for requests from the family.
