Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. Diana has been having a lot of pain in her shoulders, neck, and arms.  Today we found out that Diana has a tumor that has deteriorated and fractured her C5 vertebrae in her neck.  The tumor is pressing on her spinal cord and has caused her to lose function of her left arm.  There is a second tumor that is  located higher up in the C1 and C2 area, but it is not causing problems with the cervical spine.  The Orthopedoc surgeon and Oncologist have ordered multiple tests to learn more about the tumors before doing surgery.  She most likely will have surgery Saturday or Sunday to remove the tumor and repair/build the vertebrae.   The surgery will be quite complex and we are expecting surgery to take 5 to 7 hours.  We will continue to update everyone as we learn more.  We appreciate your support, prayers, and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
