On July 14th Diana and Sean received the results of the many test and biopsy she had endured over the last few days. Diana was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer at the early age of 34. Stage 2 breast cancer means it has spread to her lymph nodes and there is a 20% chance it has spread even further. Tuesday July 19-Thursday July 21 she will undergo more testing to better understand her diagnosis and begin to determine the plan of action. Diana has incredible doctors and we can all trust that they will come up with perfect plan to fully conquer this awful disease. Diana plans to spend two weeks with her entire family in paradise celebrating her daughters first birthday and mothers 70th birthday before starting the healing process. When she returns her doctors believe it will require 4-6 month of chemo followed by surgery then radiation and more chemo. As they learn more the plan could be adjusted but the whole process should take about a year.
