Deb Rolig Devotions for Deb Rolig

First post: Sep 1, 2021
Welcome to the CaringBridge website, which is  used to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.

This prayer chain evolves from the hearts of Justine Gulledge and Debbi Dean-Colley amongst the many, many people that Deb has touched throughout her life.

Deb has been struggling for some time now with different health issues, with the latest battle involving cancer. Her sister, Diane (Dee) will be able to elaborate much more with her personal medical story. Regardless if all the specifics, the intent of this story is Deb is in desperate need for her loved ones to pray for her during this troubled time. Prayer is among the most ancient of human practices, and nothing is more powerful! Prayer transcends religions, denominations, sects and belief systems of any nature. It is used in a multitude of ways, perhaps to seek comfort or make a request, to ask for guidance, heal, restore, express sorrow, celebrate joy and to give gratitude.  Therefore, if your “religion”  takes you to church, a walk in nature , a poem, chant, drumming, the sunset  or simply kneeling by your bedside, Deb needs all of them!
At its most elemental level , praying is simply transcending to the higher power, whatever your belief, which amplifies the power.  We are asking for all to come together tomorrow,
( and everyday thereafter) whether it be for a minute or an hour, to please give Deb up in prayer, elevated at the highest level, and let the goddess arms be wrapped around her to give her the strength, comfort, positive mental clarity and love this woman in the biggest way!
Throughout Deb’s life, she has always given unconditionally to anyone she meets. Her humor, quirkiness and wit can make you chuckle instantaneously. Her inner glow is displayed through her amazing artwork, as she is one of the most talented artists, and the magnitude of her large smile is infectious! . Anything Deb commits to, she excels with full momentum. So… Let’s all infect her with love, comfort, prayer and smiles tomorrow and everyday thereafter so that she is pulled into the light and is able to start her healing process.

Please share with all of us a story, a word, a prayer that Deb would enjoy reading or hearing about. We can all do this
together!
With love,
Debbi and Justine
