Within the last 48 hours from a routine physical, it has been determined that Derrel has Acute Myeloid Leukemia, and we are heading to City of Hope today to begin what we think will be chemotherapy treatment. We won’t know more until after we've met with the Oncologist today at 1:00pm. My daughter-in-law (Kristi Ormonde) has set up this Caring Bridge website that you will have access to for the latest updates. Prayers are welcome, and for most of you, you know our friends here at Trilogy and you can always check in with them as well. Our faith in God is strong and we know he has a purpose for Derrel's cancer. Please pray for all those who will be part of Derrel's treatment, that their lives will be touched in a positive way and God will be glorified through it all.
