Dad passed away very early in the morning of Wednesday, May 3, 2017.
Update 4.17.2017: Denny's official diagnosis was Stage IV pancreatic adenocarcinoma with metastases to the liver and lymph system (and a few other spots in the region that lit up on the PET scan). Because of his reduced liver function, chemotherapy is not an option.
March 20th, Denny was admitted to the ER and diagnosed with metastatic cancer. In the days that have passed, doctors have determined that he has adenocarcinoma of unknown origin. Testing to determine the primary source will begin next week, as well as chemotherapy.
