We met with Dr Baskaya at UW Hospital, and it's very clear that Dennis' brain tumor (oligodendroglioma) is back and seems to be wider. Surgery is the best option for now and is scheduled for October 14. We should get the pathology report after surgery, and proceed from there as far as treatment goes.
We feel better in a way after talking to the doctor and having a clear path for the very near future, but the reality is hard. We're only 5 years past his last surgery, and we were hoping for another several years before this had to be addressed again.
Fortunately we're surrounded by so much love and support! I don't know what we'd do without all of you!
