Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Dennis was taken by ambulance to Abbott Northwestern and admitted to the ICU Jan 31st 1017.  A staph infection was found in his blood as well as his left wrist and shoulder.  According to the doctors, if he had not been brought in that day, he would not have made it through the next.  Dennis underwent surgery on his wrist and shoulder to remove the infection, but has a long road to recovery.   He was moved out of ICU after two weeks, but is not yet able to drink or eat.   Another scare occurred when his right arm swelled and doctors believed it may have been the staph infection that had spread.  Fortunately, it was gout and not the staff infection in his right arm.
