Dennis was taken to the ER on Friday August 12. He was very lethargic and disoriented. He was suffering from extreme dehydration. They decided to keep him over night to keep an eye on his kidneys. They did temporarily shut down. After being in the ICU we discovered he had pneumonia. Saturday morning we were informed that he might have had a mild heart attack from all the stress being put on his body. Saturday morning we also found out he had, Sepsis, staph in his bloodstream and ARDS. Everything has slowly been improving, except for his lungs. As of today, Tuesday August 16, he is being placed on a ventilator. This is for his own good to be able to let his body rest and heal the way it needs to. We are creating this page to be able to centralize all of the update and inform everyone as to what is going on. The prayers, support and overall concern have been an absolute blessing. We genuinely appreciate all of the prayers and love you have given us in this time. We are all in good spirits and know that God is in control of the entire situation. Please feel free to leave a note for dad or the family. When he is awake and coherent we will be sure to read all of them to him.
Thank you!!
