Dear Family, Friends and Community,

Ten days ago, doctors diagnosed Denise with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. For Denise, her family, loved ones, and friends among the Cortes Island community, this diagnosis has been a shocking and devastating discovery.

Denise is an extraordinary 75 year old woman whose vitality, beauty and radiance has inspired all who know her.  She has spent a lifetime giving to others, and now needs our help. Denise is on a healing journey, and we are coming together as a united force to help support her back to health.

Denise has received support from our amazing team at the Cortes Medical Clinic and other knowledgeable doctors. After much research and consideration, Denise now embarks on her treatment, including traditional medical treatment in Canada and alternative treatment in Mexico. The journey starts now and requires financial support.

We are asking for contributions from those who are able to help. The outpouring of love and support from family, friends and community has filled Denise and her husband Norm with a sense of hope and deep gratitude.
