Denise Melka

Welcome to Denise's CaringBridge website! Jim and Denise used CaringBridge to communicate with Adam's "village" as he fought through his brain injury and  have asked me to keep this CaringBridge site up to date on their behalf as Denise fights her own battle with ovarian cancer!  I am so honored to do so!!  In addition to being a genuinely nice, funny, loving, hardworking, faith-filled woman, she is the best wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and friend anyone could have!

On Monday, September 10th, 2018, Denise went to the doctor for what she thought could be an ulcer.  After several tests and consultations, the results came back that she has Stage III ovarian cancer.  Needless to say, her world has been rocked!  The good news is that she is a FIGHTER, she is a rock, and she is surrounded by her own village of family and friends that will be by her side as she overcomes this challenge and kicks cancers A@@!!.

Our goal is to use CaringBridge to communicate her status and when she is up for having conversations, it revolves around some normality and some laughs.  Laughing is good for the soul!! We appreciate everyone's support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
