Welcome to our CaringBridge website for our loving Mama who will be undergoing a left sub-occipital craniectomy (brain surgery) for tumor resection on Tuesday, January 26th. The tumor is suspected to a benign meningioma although other pathologies cannot yet be ruled out until the tumor is removed. The procedure will be taking place fairly early in the morning, at St. Cloud Hospital. Unfortunately, no one is able to stay with her and she is not allowed visitors. Because of this, updates may be few and far in between. That being said, I (Janae), will still be diligent about providing updates ASAP. As of now we have been told to expect at least one day of her being in the ICU, post-operatively. We appreciate your prayers, support and words of hope and encouragement. If you are here you are aware she is a tough cookie, but a procedure like this is hard even on the toughest. We are trusting God will see her through and are pleading for a quick recovery.
