As many of you may have heard... The evening of Monday, September 30th, Denein Cusack was involved in a very serious car accident; while traveling home in Lakewood, Colorado. We are very blessed to be able to say that she survived.
However, the journey ahead is going to be a very long and challenging road to recovery. We wanted to create this site to keep everyone up to date on Deneins recovery, as well as provide opportunities for those interested in helping.
As Denein continues to recover, her family will need help with various tasks. While she is in the ICU, the best way to help is meal deliveries to make sure her family is taking care of themselves as well. In the near future, we will open blocks of time on the site calendar for visits once Denein is feeling up to it. When Denein is able to start physical therapy, the family will need assistance with transportation to appointments. Please continue to keep Denein and her family in your prayers during their recovery. See below on how you can help locally and from a far.

https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/deneincusack/plannerDenein does enjoy her short visits with friends. Here are a few guidelines and ideas to keep each visit a positive experience.
Please wash your hands when you come in the room to keep the Warrior free of infection.
Come with your own stories of what you have done lately, a good memory from this summer, a few jokes, or a favorite short book or poem.
Try not to talk about her accident or her surgeries as the doctors and nurses do plenty of that.
Keep your visits appropriately brief and please no kisses.
