I never imagined I'd have to create a website like this for a dear friend as I imagine Delores never expected she would have to make an announcement of her breast cancer diagnosis.  News such as this is can be scary and traumatic but Delores' main priority is her recovery, to watch her kids Freddie and Birdie grow and give them a happy, healthy childhood.  
The next few months include many doctors visits, chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, lost time with family and friends and will require many positive thoughts, support and love from everyone in her life.  Delores is always the first to support someone in need, (including the aspiring clown hoping to get into clown college ;)) this time it is our turn to support Delores so she can use the impressive amount of strength she has within her to fight cancer and make a full recovery.  
Delores's medical insurance will help with the cost of chemo, doctors visits and eventually surgery but those in the hair stylist industry, especially independently, know the potential financial hardship of life with no sick pay, PTO or vacations.  Delores's treatments will require time be taken off from work, unpaid.  In order for her to focus on her recovery, any form of financial support will be very much appreciated as well as help eliminate the stress of a reduced income.  Most importantly, support, prayers, thoughts of positivity for Delores and love are encouraged, accepted and forever appreciated.
