On Sunday, October 20, Delicia suffered a massive stroke. She was quickly transported to United Hospital where she underwent tests that determined a massive brain bleed. They brought her into surgery that morning and removed a portion of her skull to relieve the pressure off of her brain and to try to stop the bleed. Multiple tests were performed and Delicia spent 30 days in the hospital. A care conference was held on Nov. 12, and the doctors told us that Delicia had severe brain damage and the prognosis wasn't good. Delicia went home on Nov. 20th to receive hospice care. Since then, she's been under the watchful eye of her loving husband Jason and surrounded by close friends and family. Jason updates her journal daily. Thank you so much for your support.
