Dee Soulek

I don't know if you all heard but Dee Soulek (Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Friend) was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma Lung Cancer. There is a small mass in her left lung. It is a non-small cell and a slow moving cancer. On June 29, she had a pet scan to see if the cancer was anywhere else. The results showed activity in the mouth and two tiny spots outside the lung but not in any vital organs. The day after the pet scan a lump developed on her tongue. Because of these developments more tests were ordered. Today 7/9 she had a biopsy from the tongue taken. we will find out the results later this week. So far all the biopsies and tests have been very painless and she is feeling good. I will update this page when there is more news.
