If you are here, you know that on Tuesday May 4th Deems fell down the stairs in his and Babs’ home, and was taken to St. Luke’s in Kansas City with numerous fractures. True to Bab’s oft-repeated expression “if it ain’t ants, it’s spiders” Deems has faced a few additional challenges, including pneumonia, in the past two weeks and has many more to face.
The many people who have been touched by Babs and Deems have been sending best wishes and offers of assistance, which are much appreciated and are providing comfort. Babs wants to respond to everyone, and to keep everyone updated as events happen, and does not want anyone to accidentally fall through any communication/information gap. We have created this page to provide a source for Babs to share information with people until she has a chance to respond individually.
