Welcome to my CaringBridge website.  Thank you for visiting.  Following extreme fatigue and shortness of breath over the last few years, and the recent discovery of a large mass in my neck, I was diagnosed with stage 4 small cell lung cancer.   Because this cancer is so aggressive, my doctor had me start chemo less than a week after diagnosis.  Chemo will be three days a week (Thurs. - Sat.). This is day 3 of chemo and I am having no side effects. This is also day 3  becoming a non-smoker-sans patches!  Radiation is planned to commence with round 3 of chemo (January 10).   I will keep you posted as time goes on.  Thank you for your interest and support.
