Hi friends of Debra. She tried to update on here a few times but it disappeared. I am having her write on my page for now. Today: Monday morning
It's me Debra : my friend Ellen stayed over last night and it has been so comforting and heartwarming. It really is so helpful having friends come over especially those who are able to stay over. Human contact is so healing. Hugs have been especially healing ....I feel so much love and gratitude for all of you. And for Elia especially. It has been especially hard for her and she is being so wonderful and helpful. I welcome you all to call or come over and sign up on here it's so helpful. It's very vulnerable right now to feel not physically strong.
Sunday update: "Feeling so much gratitude and love for your all's caring. Feeling up and down with energy still." Friday update: "I have little bursts of feeling better and then a lot of fatigue.. working through emotions at times." Most urgent need: a ride to Worcester on Wednesday morning the 20th. Can anyone do this? Text Debra at 413-320-6813. Tuesday's noon update from sister Amy: "Hi friends. Debra is out of surgery and it went very well. The doctors did have to remove additional lymph nodes, as the first one tested positive. She will probably need to have 6 weeks of radiation treatments but not until after a few weeks of r and r. Keep up those healing vibes...
