This is An Adventure.  I have declared it so.

The first Journal entry  here at my Caring Bridge site (entitled "The Elephant") is an analogy of my story about my diagnosis with glioblastoma, a very aggressive brain cancer. Cancer runs in my family and has managed to wipe out most of us, including my mother, grandfather, sister, brother, 2 aunts, 2 uncles . . .  The entry was written by my friend Anne Holway, who is a writer with a medical degree. She also is a follower of Christ and an exuberant recepient of God's grace, and she loves me.

So, Welcome to our CaringBridge website.   We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place, rather than scattered through emails and individual texts, etc..  We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.  We will be doing our best to keep everyone updated about what's happening and how they might help out--under "Ways to Help" here on Caring Bridge, in addition to leaving words of encouragement (always loved!),  see the "Planner" for specific tasks and ideas (we'll see if that can give enough detail).   Thank you for visiting.
