Welcome to Deborah Abdullah-Smith's CaringBridge website!  We are using this website to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. We will update this site regularly to keep everyone updated on Deborah's current health status, things she may need and a way for family and friends to track when people will be visiting Deborah in Seattle/Bellevue. If you have specific questions regarding Deborha's health status, please send us a private message and we are happy to help answer. 


Deborah has Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (also known as CLL). CLL is cancer of the blood and bone marrow, in which bone marrow makes too much lymphocytes (a type of white blood cell).  Deborah is working with a team of doctors to help create a treatment plan. We will update you here on how treatment is going, how she is feeling and a place for you to give words of hope, prayers and love her way to recovery!
