Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Early Friday morning, December 1, Deb was struggling breathing even with her home oxygen turned completely up. She had been battling illness for over a week but at 4am she knew she couldn't do it on her own anymore and insisted Jon call an ambulance. She was transported by ambulance to Kanabec county hospital where she was intubated and the decision was made that she needed to be taken to Abbott Northwest. At approximately 6am the helicopter lifted from the helo pad, my mom was being life flighted.  Upon arrival at Abbott she was placed in ICU. She remains  intubated, iv's placed, art line placed, catheter, family joined her there. By early evening her vitals were stable and she was heavily sedated because in true Deb fashion, she was fighting the machines needed to save her! She will remain on heavy sedation and continuous pain meds to try to allow her body to heal. At this time we are waiting on many test results to determine her path of care.

Mom's prognosis is.... good. She just needs time, time and prayer, lots and lots of prayer. She's the toughest woman i know, if anyone can do this, she can and we will be with her every step of the way.

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"
